Miss Seeton Rocks the Cradle
Great Read! They are truly one of a kind. I love the time period and the many scrapes that she seems to fall into. They're truly hilarious, while the novels maintain the suspense. I love Britain and try to get to London and environs once every couple of years or so.

Blair Stanley shows up to take Sarah away from Aunt HettySara cannot abide the thought that two of the people she loves most in the world cannot even talk to each other civilly, and so she hatches up a plan to force their reconciliation. But these two stubborn adults cannot admit for a second that the other cares as much for Sara as they do, which only means that fate is going to have to take a hand to make things right. This storybook is written by Gail Hamilton from the teleplay by Heather Conkie. I am supposed to add at this point that the teleplay, in turn, was adapted from the novels of Lucy Maud Montgomery, but that is not really true with this particular episode. "The Story Girl" told of Sara Stanley's visits each summer to the town of Carlisle on PEI, and while many of the characters are the same, Conkie has come up with a much more original tale. This is not surprising, because the scripts she has adapted from Montgomery's actual stories usually evidence original flairs interwoven with the original tales. For me the chief charm of "Nothing Endures but Change," certainly the loftiest sounding title in the series, is enjoying Hetty King getting her comeuppance a few times. She really is such an intolerant woman for somebody who does so many unforgivable things.
